Roosevelt Tamale Parlor
Oil on Canvas, 18 x 22, 2016
The Roosevelt Tamale Parlor went out of business in late 2015 because they could not hire anyone willing to work there for minimum wage. No one can survive in San Francisco making minimum wage. But in 2017, the owners re-opened the restaurant which is now called Roosevelt Sip and Eat. There is now an American menu and best of all, the original neon sign is still there.
